To fulfil its responsibilities, the GB structure comprises a joint GB-SLT Strategic Planning Group and three Committees, each of which reports to the Full Governing Body at its half-termly meetings.
Strategic Planning Group, comprising the GB Chairman, Committee Chairs and the Senior Leadership Team, leads the school’s annual and longer term Strategic Planning, Improvement and Development process.
Leadership and Management Committee, chaired by Hugh Mannerings, oversees Finance, Human Resources, Governance CPD/LA links and Policy.
Standards and School Improvement Committee, chaired by Nevin Hutchinson, oversees Curriculum provision, Quality of Learning and Teaching, Early Years Foundation Stage, Keystage 1 and School Performance Data Analysis and Improvement progress.
Community and Environment Committee, chaired by Tyrone Lawless, oversees Health, Safety & Security; Premises/Site Maintenance and Development; School and Local Community Partnerships, Extended Services and development of the new Children’s Centre; and School Promotional and Marketing.
