Grovelands is a school community with a wealth of experience in meeting the educational and emotional needs of children from 3 to 7 years of age.
Our recent Ofsted inspection highlighted the strengths of our school. Above all, it showed that the children were happy, well behaved and well cared for and that they were proud of their school.

At Grovelands, we have developed a wonderful range of facilities for the children. These include our extensive outdoor learning area for nursery and reception, greatly enhanced facilities for our extensive play area and a newly developed wildlife and sensory garden. Indoors, we have excellent ICT provision, including interactive whiteboards in every Year 1 and Year 2 classroom. We have made major investments in learning resources, especially to support literacy. Most importantly, we have been able to expand greatly our provision of support staff, so every class has their own teaching assistant, working with the class teacher for most of every school day.
